In the last month or so, there has been a lot of hype over the new Revlon Photoready Collection. While browsing around the store, I came across their photoready cream blushes. The blush is available in three shades: coral reef, pinched and flushed. I only picked up one color since the price was high($11.99) for a drugstore cosmetic. The color I picked up was flushed, which is a fuchsia pink. I chose this color because I had nothing similar to it in my makeup collection and the color is perfect for fall/winter.
Texture and Application
The texture of this blush is extremely creamy and easy to apply. I found that the best way to apply this is with your fingers. I dab the blush onto my cheek bones and blend it in. The best part about the blush is that although it looks extremely pigmented in the jar, you can apply it lightly for a slight flush or add more to get a brighter look.
Staying Power
This blush has an okay staying power. I would say it wears for about 3 hours before it starts to fade and I have pretty dry skin. If you need it to last longer, I would recommend layering a powder blush over it.
Verdict
Over all I would not repurchase this item again. I feel that it is extremely pricey for a drugstore cosmetic and for $12 I expect it to last longer than 3 hours.
